Mount Carson is a mountain in East Antarctica, Victoria Land . In the Southern Cross Mountains, it rises 3 km west of the Chisholm Hills .

The United States Geological Survey mapped it using its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1969 after Gene A. Carson (1933-1989), an electrician at McMurdo Station in 1963 and 1967.
