The Mount Collie is a 3143 m high mountain in the Canadian Rockies . It is located in Yoho National Park in the province of British Columbia on the western edge of the Wapta Ice Field.
The mountain was named in 1897 by Charles S. Thompson after J. Norman Collie , a British chemist and climber who first climbed and named numerous mountains in the Canadian Rockies. Its first ascent was in 1901 by James Outram and Edward Whymper .
