The Lösgesmühle , also Lüsgesmühle , was a water mill near Füssenich , a district of Zülpich in the Euskirchen district .

The grinding mill stood directly on the Neffelbach , near the Füssenich nature conservation lake created by lignite mining .

The grain mill was first mentioned in 1808, and Jacob Mahlberg from Füssenich was named as the owner. He was succeeded by Wilhelm Mahlberg and most recently (1957) the forest master Damian Frohn from Bonn .

The mill had two grinding cycles in an alternating mechanism with an overshot water wheel . In addition, the grinder was operated electrically in 1957.

The four-sided courtyard complex consisting of a manor house with a mill house, stables and barn was entered on July 6, 1982 under number 24 in the list of architectural monuments in Zülpich .
