The Bessenich oil mill was a water mill that was located in the Zülpich district of Bessenich in the Euskirchen district .
The grinding mill was directly on the Neffelbach . It had two grinders and an oil press and an undershot water wheel .
Above was the Bessenicher mill and below the Disternicher mill .
The flour mill was first mentioned in 1808, when the widow Peter Bardenberg was named as the owner. She employed a worker. In 1937 a turbine was installed instead of the water wheel . In 1957, the mill owned by the Doctor siblings was still in operation. Today the building is used as a residential building.
