The Biessenmühle , also called Biesenmühle , was a watermill near Füssenich , a district of Zülpich in the Euskirchen district .

The grinding mill was directly on the Neffelbach . Today the Füssenich nature conservation lake , created by lignite mining , is located there .

The mill was first mentioned in 1805, when Tilmann Braun was named as the tenant. The mill had two grinding cycles in an alternating mechanism with an overshot water wheel . In 1957 the mill was owned by the Hülden family. In addition, the grinder was already operated electrically.
