The Disternicher Mühle is located on the Neffelbach near Disternich in the Düren district, directly at the Hallenburg .

The Disternich grinding mill originally belonged to Disternich Castle. In 1820 the mill had an undershot water wheel and a grinding stage , in 1830 there was already a second grinding stage. At that time, Mathias Frohn from Disternich was the owner. The mill then came to the Grewe family through marriage, before the Porta family bought the mill in 1928.

In 1930 the property was almost completely destroyed by fire. After the reconstruction, grain was milled until 1958. The grinding operation was stopped due to a lack of profitability. The building is used as a residential building. From the water wheel (m wide 3 m high and 3) remains are still visible.
