The Müddersheimer Ölmühle is located in Müddersheim in the Düren am Neffelbach district , near Müddersheim Castle , at Amandusstraße 2 / corner of Bahnhofstraße.
Above was the Disternich mill , below the Müddersheim mill . The mill was also known as the castle mill .
It is first mentioned in 1822 as an oil mill in Moedersheim . Wilhelm Mostert zu Müddersheim was the tenant.
The grinder had an oil press and was driven by an undershot water wheel.
The mill is entered under no. Mud-13 in the list of architectural monuments in Vettweiß . The entry text dated February 17, 1988 reads:
“2-storey, eaves-standing half-timbered house, multi-storey construction; 2 entrances on the eaves side; Muntin windows, original size on the upper floor, changed in the gable; Hipped roof; associated farm building made of quarry stone, without monument value. "
