Mount Cordwell is a mountain in the East Antarctic Enderbyland . It rises 3 km east of the Burch Peaks and 32 km south-southwest of Stor Hånakken .
Aerial photographs taken in 1957 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions were used for mapping. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it after Tom S. Cordwell, a radio operator on Wilkes Station in 1961.
