Mount Crean is a 2550 m high mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It is the highest point in the center of the Lashly Mountains .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the massive and rocky mountain after the Irish polar explorer Tom Crean (1877-1938), participant of the Discovery Expedition (1901-1904), the Terra Nova Expedition (1910-1913) and the Endurance expedition (1914-1917).
