Mount Dungey is a mountain in the East Antarctic Enderbyland . It rises 1.5 km west of Pythagoras Peak in the Tula Mountains .
Aerial photographs of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions from 1956 were used for mapping purposes. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named him after Francis George Dungey, Stewart on the RSS Discovery on the British Australian and New Zealand Antarctic Research Expedition (BANZARE, 1929-1931) under the direction of the Australian polar explorer Douglas Mawson .
