Mount Fenton is a 2480 m high mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises 4 km northeast of Mount Mackintosh in the northern part of the Skinner Ridge .
It was mapped by the United States Geological Survey and using aerial photographs by the United States Navy from 1956 to 1962. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1968 after Michael D. Fenton, a geologist at McMurdo Station from 1965 to 1966 .
