Mount Fox is a 1980 m high mountain in Mac Robertson Land, East Antarctica . It looms in the Anare nunatak core . Its north and west slopes are iced up to the summit, while its east slope is characterized by bare brownish rock.
A team led by the Australian polar explorer John Mayston Béchervaise (1910-1998) visited him in November 1955 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named him after Leon Neville Eugene Jennings-Fox (1929-2011), weather observer and sled dog handler at Mawson Station in 1955.
