Mount Gate is a mountain in the shape of a ledge in the East Antarctic Enderbyland . It rises 6 km east of Mount Cordwell .
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named him after Keith Gate, who was a radio operator at Mawson Station in 1975 and a member of a team on the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions to survey the Enderbyland in 1976.
