Mount Gawn is a 2190 m high and striking mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises in the center of the King Range in the Concord Mountains .
The northern group of a campaign from 1963 to 1964 as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition named him after John Edward Gawn (* 1919), who worked as a radio operator at Scott Base during the research trip .
