Mount Hayton is a 2240 m high mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises from Camp Ridge in the southern section of the East Quartzite Range in the Concord Mountains .
The southern group of the New Zealand Federated Mountain Clubs Antarctic Expedition (NZFMCAE, 1962–1963) named him after John S. Hayton (* 1929), field research assistant on this expedition.
