Mount Lagado

Mount Lagado is a 1200  m high mountain on the Oskar II coast of Graham Land in the north of the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises west of Target Hill on the southern flank of the Leppard Glacier .

The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1988 after Lagado, capital of the fictional island of Laputa from the novel Gulliver's Travels by Jonathan Swift from 1726.
