List of Portuguese ambassadors in Albania

The list of Portuguese ambassadors in Albania lists the ambassadors of the Republic of Portugal in Albania . The two countries have had diplomatic relations since 1977.

In 1988 a Portuguese representative was accredited for the first time in Albania. Portugal has not yet opened its own embassy there (as of August 2019). The country initially belonged to the administrative district of the Portuguese ambassador to Bulgaria, today it belongs to the district in Italy that is double-accredited in Albania .

There is a Portuguese honorary consulate in the Albanian capital Tirana .
