List of Portuguese ambassadors in Latvia

The list of Portuguese ambassadors in Latvia lists the ambassadors of the Republic of Portugal in Latvia . The two states have had uninterrupted diplomatic relations since 1992, following the current Latvian independence in 1991 . After Latvia's first independence, the two countries had entered into diplomatic relations for the first time in 1921, but had not yet exchanged ambassadors.

Portugal had its own embassy in the Latvian capital Riga between 2001 and 2016, since then the Portuguese ambassador in the Swedish capital Stockholm has been responsible for Latvia , who is double-accredited there, as before the opening of its own embassy (as of August 2019).
