The list of Portuguese ambassadors in Bulgaria lists the ambassadors of the Republic of Portugal in Bulgaria . The two states entered into diplomatic relations in 1925. At least from 1934 to 1938 Portugal had a representation in the Bulgarian capital Sofia .

Relations were broken after the end of World War II in 1945, when Bulgaria joined the Eastern Bloc . Only after the end of the anti-communist Estado Novo dictatorship after the Carnation Revolution in Portugal in 1974 were they resumed. Since then, the Portuguese embassy in Sofia has existed again.
