The list of Portuguese ambassadors to the Republic of Moldova lists the ambassadors of the Republic of Portugal to the Republic of Moldova . The two states entered into diplomatic relations after Moldovan independence in 1991. Portugal has not yet opened its own embassy in the Moldovan capital Chișinău , the Republic of Moldova belongs to the administrative district of the Portuguese embassy in the Romanian capital Bucharest , which is double accredited in Chișinău (as of 2019).
