List of Portuguese ambassadors in Greece

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The list of Portuguese ambassadors in Greece lists the ambassadors of the Republic of Portugal in Greece . The two states have had direct diplomatic relations since 1835.

Initially the Portuguese ambassador in Paris was responsible for Greece, and from 1919 the Portuguese representative in Bucharest received double accreditation there . Since 1946 Portugal has had its own representation (legation) in the Greek capital Athens . On December 11, 1964, the previous legation was elevated to a full embassy.
