List of Portuguese ambassadors in Malta

The list of Portuguese ambassadors in Malta lists the ambassadors of the Republic of Portugal in Malta .

A representative of Portugal was first accredited in Malta in 1975. Portugal opened its own embassy in the Maltese capital Valletta in 2005, but closed it again in 2008. Since then, the country has once again been part of the administrative district of the Portuguese Ambassador to Italy , who is accredited for this purpose in Malta (as of 2019).

A Portuguese honorary consulate has been set up in the Maltese capital Valletta (as of 2019).
