List of Portuguese ambassadors in Ireland

The List of Portuguese Ambassadors to Ireland lists the Ambassadors of the Republic of Portugal to the Republic of Ireland . After Irish independence in 1921, the two states entered into diplomatic relations that date back to the first trade relations since the Middle Ages. Portugal opened its representation (Legation, embassy in 1965 ) in the Irish capital Dublin in 1946.
