List of Portuguese ambassadors in Italy

The list of Portuguese ambassadors in Italy lists the ambassadors of the Republic of Portugal in Italy .

Even before the unification of Italy in 1861, Portuguese representatives were accredited in what is now Italy , for example at the court of Savoy , in the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies , in the Kingdom of Sardinia and in the Grand Duchy of Tuscany .

The Portuguese embassy has resided in the Italian capital Rome since 1871 . There are also Portuguese honorary consulates in Bari , Bologna , Florence , Genoa , Livorno , Milan , Naples , Palermo , Trieste , Turin and Venice (as of 2019).
