Callum Millward (born April 29, 1985 in Havelock North ) is a former duathlete and triathlete from New Zealand . He is Ironman 70.3 winner (2015, 2018).

Career

Callum Millward finished second in the U23 class at the OTU Triathlon Oceania Championships in Penrith in January 2006 .

Callum Millward has been competing in the long-distance triathlon since 2012.

In June 2015 he won the Ironman 70.3 Boulder (1.9 km swimming, 90 km cycling and 21.1 km running). In 2015, the then 30-year-old competed in the Ironman Hawaii for the first time, but could not finish the race.

A year later, he finished 36th at the 2016 Ironman World Championships .

In May 2018, the then 33-year-old finished second behind Terenzo Bozzone in the Ironman 70.3 Busselton , which had to be held as a duathlon at short notice due to the bad weather. In August 2018 he was able to win the Ironman 70.3 Boulder again after 2015.
At his third start in Hawaii, Callum Millward finished 44th in the Pros at the Ironman World Championships in October 2018 . He has not appeared internationally since 2018.

Callum Millward lives with his partner, triathlete Alise Selsmark in Noosa Shire , Queensland. Since November 2019, the two parents of one son.
