Mount Lepanto is a striking and 2910 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Victory Mountains it rises 3 km southeast of Mount Freeman .
Participants in a 1957-1958 campaign as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition named him after the Battle of Lepanto on October 7, 1571.
