Mount Lira ( Russian Гора Лира Gora Lira , German ' Lyraberg ' ) is a mountain in the East Antarctic Enderbyland . It rises 8 km east of the Condon Hills .
Participants in a Soviet Antarctic expedition carried out from 1961 to 1962 carried out geological surveys of this mountain and its descriptive naming. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names transferred this designation in 1971 in a partial translation into English.
