The Condon Hills are a group of hills up to 840 m high in the East Antarctic Enderbyland . They lie along the eastern flank of the Rayner Glacier near its confluence with the Cosmonaut Sea .
They were mapped using aerial photographs taken in 1956 and 1957 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named the hills in 1961 after Maurice Alan Condon (1915-2008), deputy head of the Bureau of Mineral Resources of the Australian Department of National Development .
