Mount Macpherson is a 2360 m high mountain in the Australian Antarctic Territory . In the center of the Geologists Range, it rises 2.5 km north of Mount Csejtey on the southern edge of the Boucot Plateau .
The northern group of the 1961 to 1962 campaign as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition sighted and named him. It is named after Eric Ogilvy Macpherson (1893–1948), chief geologist of the New Zealand Geological Survey .
