Mount Moa is an over 2000 m high mountain in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . At the northern end of the Churchill Mountains, it rises above the Kiwi Pass at the southern end of the Kent Plateau .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2003 after the Moa , an extinct ratite order native to New Zealand .
