Mount Mueller is a 1057 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Kempland . It rises immediately east of the Storegutt and 35 km west of Edward VIII Bay .
Aerial photographs of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions from 1956 were used for mapping purposes. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named him after the German-Australian botanist and geographer Ferdinand von Mueller (1825-1896), who had belonged in 1886 to the Australian Antarctic Exploration Committee .
