Mount Pleiones is an extinct volcano in East Antarctica, Victoria Land . It is the southernmost and with a height of 3020 m at the same time the second highest peak in the group The Pleiades .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it after Pleione , wife of the titan Atlas from Greek mythology.
