The Mount Saint Michael is a striking rock formation on the coast of the East Antarctic Kemplands . It rises up on the west side of the entrance to Bell Bay .
Participants in the British Discovery Investigations discovered him in 1936 from the RRS William Scoresby . They probably named it after its resemblance to its French counterpart , Mont Saint-Michel on the Normandy coast .
