The mount sarbach is a 3155 m high mountain in the Canadian Rockies . It is located in Banff National Park between the Mistaya River and Howse River and is visible from the Icefields Parkway . The mountain was named after Peter Sarbach , a mountain guide from St. Niklaus in the Swiss canton of Valais, who led J. Norman Collie and GP Baker on the first ascent in 1897 .
