Mount Sibiryakov ( Russian Гора Сибирякова Gora Sibirjakowa ) is an isolated mountain in the East Antarctic Enderbyland . It rises about 16 miles south of Mount Humble .
Scientists from a Soviet Antarctic expedition examined rocky outcrops here between 1961 and 1962 . They named the mountain after the Soviet icebreaker Alexander Sibiryakov . The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names translated the Russian designation into English in 1971.
