The Mount Usborne ( spanish Cerro Alberdi ) with 708 meters the highest mountain in the Falkland Islands and is located on the northern half Ostfalklands north-east of Darwin . It has small glaciations even in summer.
The mountain is named after Alexander Burns Usborne, an officer on the Beagle , the ship that Charles Darwin took on his famous voyage.
