The Mousa Alli (also Mousa Ali ; Afar Mūsa'álli or Musā'álli , from Mūsa'alé-li , "Musa in his mountain") is a 2028 m high stratovolcano in the triangle of Eritrea , Ethiopia and Djibouti . In Djibouti it is the highest point in the country.
The volcano is named after Musa , the seventh Imam of the Shiites . Its peak is called the Gâgu .
Two Afar tribes live in the area . They are collectively referred to as Adrúmmi , from 'Adó Rúm-li "white like Byzantines ", which refers to their supposedly particularly light skin color.
