The Moutonnée Point is a prominent headland on the east coast of the West Antarctic Alexander I Island . It is located as an extension of Ganymede Heights northeast of Moutonnée Lake and protrudes into George VI Sound .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2002 based on the naming of the neighboring lake. This is named after the round hump rock on its banks ( French Roches moutonnées ).
