The left-wing Movimento Social Democrata MSD ( tetum Movimentu Sosial Demokrata , German  Social Democratic Movement ) is an alliance of East Timorese parties. It was founded in March 2018.

The alliance includes the Partido Social Democrata PSD , the Partido Socialista de Timor PST , the Partido Democrata Cristão PDC and the Centro Acção Social Democrata Timorense CASDT .

The members had a total of 13,673 votes in the parliamentary elections in East Timor in 2017 , which corresponds to a share of 2.4% of the votes. In the early parliamentary elections in East Timor in 2018 , the MSD clearly failed because of the four percent threshold with only 3,188 votes (share: 0.5%).
