Oberste Zeith is a district of Seelscheid in the municipality of Neunkirchen-Seelscheid in the Rhein-Sieg district .

The formerly independent town of Oberste Zeith is located on Bundesstrasse 56 across from the town of Hagen . Former neighboring towns were Komp in the south and Oberlinden in the north.
history
In 1830 Zeith had 40 inhabitants. In 1845 the farm had 15 Catholic and four Protestant residents (19) in four houses. In 1888 there were 29 residents in six houses.
1910 lived here pensioner Widow Josef Küpper, manager Josef Küpper, pensioners Josef Scherer, the Ackerer Johann and Johann Peter Schmitt, pensioners Josef Schmitt, host ( "Restaurant Customs House" with Logis and stables ) and grocer Peter Schmitz and gewerblose widow Johann Wild.
The settlement belonged to the Seelscheid community until 1969.
