The Moyes Point is a headland in southwest of Signy Iceland in the archipelago of the South Orkney Islands . It forms the east side of the southeast entrance to the Fyr Channel and the western boundary of the entrance to Bedlam Cove .
Scientists from the British Discovery Investigations first mapped it in 1933. The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey carried out surveys between 1956 and 1958. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them in 1959 after William Moyes (1887–1950), representative of the British government on Signy Island from 1912 to 1913.
