Moyo is a city in northern Uganda near the border with South Sudan with 12,074 inhabitants. It is the capital of the Moyo district of the same name .
In the past few decades, the city has been significantly shaped by the influx of refugees set in motion by the civil war in South Sudan and the civil wars in Uganda. Cotton processing, which used to be important, has been severely affected by these conflicts. There is an airplane runway.
