Mpaka is a place in Swaziland . It is located in the Lubombo region . The place is 323 meters above sea level in the Lowveld . The place is a scattered settlement with about 4000 inhabitants.

Mpaka is a transport hub . The place has a train station on the north-south route through Eswatini. There is also a route from Mpaka east to Goba and Maputo in Mozambique (see also: Rail transport in Swaziland ). The MR3 road runs through Mpaka in an east-west direction.

King Mswati III International Airport , the only international airport in Swaziland for civil air traffic, is around twelve kilometers to the northwest . About ten kilometers northeast of Mpaka is the Hlane Royal National Park .
