Mr. Credo

Mr. Credo (born November 22, 1972 in Zhytomyr Oblast , Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic , Soviet Union ; actually Alexander Machonin ( Russian Александр Махонин )) is a Russian singer who represents the styles of techno and reggae .

Machonine worked in a band called Credo for a while. After this band was broken up, Mr. Credo, his new pseudonym, went on alone. He can always be recognized by his oriental suit.

After the 1997 release of his album Fantasy, two of his songs received criticism due to the clear mention of drugs. As a result, Mr. Credo composed new versions of the songs in his album Tschudnaja dolina, in which all mentions of drugs were removed.
