The Mschanez (Ukrainian Мшанець ; Polish Mszanka or Mszaniec ) is a small left tributary of the Dniester in Ukraine . The river flows through the upper reaches of the Polish Subcarpathian Voivodeship and thus forms part of the small area in Poland that drains over the Dniester to the Black Sea .

The approximately 21 km long river has its source in the Gmina Czarna in the Bieszczadzki powiat in the Sanok-Turka Mountains , reaches the Ukraine after a run of 7.6 km and flows into the upper reaches of the Dniester at Hołowiecko (Головецько) at an altitude of 450 m . The catchment area is given as 107 km².
