Muanda is a city with around 50,000 inhabitants on the Atlantic coast in the far west of the Democratic Republic of the Congo .

history

The urban area of ​​Muanda also includes the Kitona airport , which was expanded by the Belgian armed forces as a military base after the Second World War .
