Muhammad Bahawal Khan I.

Nawab Amir Muhammad Bahawal Khan I (* 1715 ; † June 12, 1750 in Bahawalpur ) was the eldest of 3 sons of the 1st Nawab of Bahawalpur Sadiq Muhammad Khan I. Elected by the tribes, he was chosen after his father's death on 11. April 1746 his successor, he became an emir. After the loss of Derawar Fort in 1747, Muhammad Bahawal Khan I established his new capital in Bahawalpur in 1748, where he died on June 12, 1750. He was succeeded by his younger brother Muhammad Mubarak Khan II .
