Muhammad Chudscha ( Arabic محمد خوجة, DMG Muḥammad Ḫūǧa , after English transcription often Mohammad Khouja ; * March 15, 1982 ) is a former Saudi Arabian soccer goalkeeper . He won the Saudi Arabian championship once and was on the squad for the 2006 World Cup .

Career

Until 2005, Chudscha played for the Saudi Arabian second division club Ohod Medina , then he moved to the first division club al-Shabab from Riyadh. In 2006 they became champions and the 23-year-old goalkeeper drew attention to himself with his good performance.

After he belonged to the wider circle of successor candidates in the Saudi Arabian national team after the resignation of goalkeeping legend Mohammad ad-Daʿayyaʿ and had already had several appearances since 2004, he was behind the returned ad-Daʿayyaʿ for the 2006 World Cup in Germany third goalkeeper nominated for Saudi Arabia's World Cup squad . He and defender Ahmad Al-Bahri were the only two representatives of the current champion on the team.

He stayed with al-Shabab until 2009 before moving to al-Ettifaq . He ended his career in 2013.
