Muhammad Nauruz

Muhammad Nauruz Khan (* 1896 ; † in the 20th century) was an Afghan ambassador .

Life

Muhammad Nauruz is believed to be related to Mohammed Sahir Shah . He enjoyed private schooling. In 1915 he joined the Afghan Ministry of Finance. In 1916 he was transferred to the Ministry of Justice. In 1919 he was master of ceremonies at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. From 1921 to 1922 he was Amanullah Khan's second secretary . In 1922 he was Minister for Public Works. In 1929 he was Habibullah Kalakâni's first secretary . On April 17, 1939 he was accredited as ambassador to Reza Shah Pahlavi . Due to fluctuation he was doyen of the diplomatic corps in Tehran in August 1941. From 1942 to 1945 he was the Afghan interior minister. In 1946 he was Afghan finance minister and became ambassador to Moscow . In 1959 he was chairman of the Wolesi Jirga , on June 29 he said goodbye to the Soviet ambassador Mikhail Vasilyevich Degtyar and in mid-October he headed a parliamentary delegation to the Soviet Union .
