Munich sound

Munich Sound is a style of disco music from the 1970s. The specific characteristic of this genre was the dominant use of string groups. This form of music originated in Munich , where it was mainly produced.

Giorgio Moroder is considered to be one of the forefathers of Munich Sound . Typical representatives of the Munich sound were u. a. Silver Convention and Donna Summer .
